đź’Ś Purposed Women Weekly Devotional: Ask Again

Theme: Ask Again

Scripture: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

— Matthew 7:7–8 (ESV)

Reflection

Have you ever prayed about something so many times that you eventually stopped asking?

Not because you stopped believing in God, but because disappointment made you tired of bringing it up.

Jesus tells us: Ask. Seek. Knock.

There is something powerful about continuing to come to God even when the answer hasn't come the way or as quickly as we hoped.

Persistent prayer isn't about convincing God to care. It's about continuing to trust the One who already does.

Maybe you've prayed for your family, your future, healing, direction, restoration, or an opportunity and nothing seems to be changing.

Don't let silence convince you that God isn't listening.

Keep seeking Him. Keep knocking. And when discouragement tells you, “You've already prayed about that,” remind yourself that you still have access to the Father.

Purposed Woman...ask again!

Not because God forgot.

Because you still believe He hears you.đź’•

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You that I can always come to You.

When I become discouraged because I haven't seen an answer, strengthen my faith to keep praying.

Help me trust Your heart, Your wisdom, and Your timing.

Give me the courage to ask again, seek again, and knock again.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Application

Think about one thing you stopped praying about because you became discouraged.

Bring it before God again this week.

Don't focus only on getting the answer you want. Ask God to show you what He wants, what He's doing, and how He wants you to pray while you wait.

Remember:

Delay doesn't mean God has stopped listening.

You still have access to Him.

So pray again. Seek again. Knock again. Ask again.✨

Theme: Draw Near With Confidence Scripture: ““Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:19–22 (NKJV) Reflection Have you ever felt like you needed to get...

Theme: Walk in Your Authority Scripture: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 NKJV Reflection You can possess authority and still live as though you are powerless. In Luke 10:19, Jesus doesn't tell His disciples to find authority, earn it, or prove themselves worthy of it. He says, “I give you the authority.” It was already theirs because of the One who gave it to them....

Theme: It’s Working Together Scripture: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” — Romans 8:28 (NKJV) Reflection Some things in life don't look good while you're going through them. The disappointment wasn't good. The delay didn't feel good. The closed door, unexpected change, loss, or season you didn't choose may have left you wondering, “God, how could You possibly use this?” Romans 8:28 doesn't tell us...
