đź’Ś Purposed Women Weekly Devotional: While You Wait

Theme: While You Wait

Scripture: “Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!”

— Psalm 27:14 (ESV)

Reflection

Waiting can be uncomfortable...especially when you’ve prayed, obeyed, and still don’t know what God is doing.

We often treat waiting like nothing is happening. But God can do some of His deepest work in the seasons where we see the least movement.

David doesn’t tell us to wait because waiting is easy. He says, “Be strong, and let your heart take courage.” That means waiting requires faith.

You may not have the answer yet. The door may not have opened. The situation may not have changed.

But God’s silence does not mean God’s absence.

Purposed Woman, you don't have to force what God hasn't released.

Trust Him enough to wait. đź’•

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Help me trust You in the waiting.

When I become impatient or discouraged, remind me that You are still working even when I cannot see it.

Give me courage to trust Your timing and peace to remain where You have me until You say move.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Application

Identify one area where you've been tempted to rush, force, or control the outcome.

This week, instead of trying to make something happen, intentionally surrender it to God and ask:

“Lord, what do You want to develop in me while I wait?”

Remember:

Waiting is not wasted time when God is in it.

You may not see what He's doing yet, but you can trust the One who already sees what comes next. ✨

Theme: Draw Near With Confidence Scripture: ““Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:19–22 (NKJV) Reflection Have you ever felt like you needed to get...

Theme: Walk in Your Authority Scripture: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 NKJV Reflection You can possess authority and still live as though you are powerless. In Luke 10:19, Jesus doesn't tell His disciples to find authority, earn it, or prove themselves worthy of it. He says, “I give you the authority.” It was already theirs because of the One who gave it to them....

Theme: It’s Working Together Scripture: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” — Romans 8:28 (NKJV) Reflection Some things in life don't look good while you're going through them. The disappointment wasn't good. The delay didn't feel good. The closed door, unexpected change, loss, or season you didn't choose may have left you wondering, “God, how could You possibly use this?” Romans 8:28 doesn't tell us...
